Step 1:Individual Activation

Individual activation starts with each person making an emotional  and mental connection to their most natural talents. It is important to understand yourself before branching out to understanding others. Individual activation takes place over two debrief session with some in between integration work to ensure that the talents come to life!

Focus yourself and your employees in areas of greatest potential

CliftonStrengths® will show you what you are naturally good at by highlighting areas of your greatest potential. Research shows people with a positive experience with strengths are six times more likely to be engaged.

​

When you become more aware of your areas of greatest strength, you naturally want to find ways to use them. Individuals knowing their own strengths profiles can manage job responsibilities more successfully to help them spend most of their time in areas of their greatest strength. When you focus the majority of your time in an area you’re uniquely good at, you’ll enjoy it more. When you enjoy doing something, you are more productive, and contribute at a higher level.

The Individual Activation consists of the following:

​

1. The online CliftonStrengths® online assessment access code

You will receive an access code to complete your CliftonStrengths© online assessment. The assessment will take about 45 minutes to complete, after which you have access to your full strengths profile of the 34 Talents ranked in order.

​

2. Two individual one-on-one CliftonStrengths® debrief sessions by Gallup Certified Coach, Berdine Bronkhorst

​

The CliftonStrengths© assessment and debriefs are individually focused. It is very important for to become aware of your own strengths, before you can successfully build on it. The focus is on understanding your own strengths profile so that you are clear on how you naturally think, feel and behave and then be able to define your unique contribution to the team. During the debrief sessions you will be able to clear any misconceptions about your behaviour that might keep you stuck or depressed about how differently they operate from others. Through the debrief session, each youwill understand, claim and activate your highest potential. You will be very clear on what you need and contribute to your teams and work environment.

With the individual activation, each individual will:

  • Be able to identify whether their strengths are mismanaged or managed well

  • Be able to identify areas for development

  • Understand their "Signature Strengths", how to communicate needs and contributions

  • Understand their “Supporting Talents” and how to tap into them

  • Understand their “Non-Patterns” (Weaknesses), and how to leverage their strengths or their strengths-based partnerships to make up for it

  • Learn to move from mismanagement to well management of their talents

  • Learn how they execute, influence, build relationships and think through their own strengths-lens

  • Align strengths with current KPI’s, goals and overall achievement

  • Know what makes them unique and how to build on their uniqueness

  • Learn to aim their strengths and put it to work


Included in this activation package are the following:

  • Preparation information & pre-reading material for the Full 34 Debrief Session

  • A 90minute online one-on-one Top 5 Talents debrief session

  • A 2-hour online one-on-one Full 34 Talents debrief session 

  • Post session integration work and preparation for the TEAM ACTIVATION
